Skin disorder, Possibly Hydrencha?
By Terry Phillips from Fairfield County Ct. on August 18, 2005 in Medical
My daughter has been diagnosed with a skin problem. It looks like a large red pimple, there are some in the armpit area, groin area, top of leg. The one under the arm fills with a long stringy substance, that when squezed will come out in a long (2 in. long) stringy type of formation. I think it is a glandular disorder, I cannot remember the name of the disorder...sounds like hydrencha? There is an antibiotic treatment or in severe cases, surgery. When the red pimple-like sores dry up they leave a scar. There is skin grafting available for scarring. Do you know the correct spelling of this disorder so I can research it online? |
