fly wheel on murry mower

I just put a new fly whell on. The starter comes up to start it then it turns and all at once stops turning before cranking but the starer on the teeth stay up but quits turning and want let fly wheel turn anymore. It had a plastic fly wheel and i put on a metal one. What do i need to do? Thanks Artis |
