Type II Diabetes

I was recently advised that there were frequent references in my medical records from a hospital I visited, on an emergency basis for a totally unrelated matter, relative to my having Type II Diabetese. I have never been expressly told by any physician that I have this condition.
What I do have is extremely dry, cracked bleeding feet with discoloration of the toenails. Extreme thirst with me drinking two gallons of fluids a day including Kool-Aid, diet soda and water.
Finally, any cut I receive takes weeks to heal.
My questions is, should I being seeking medical attention for a disease I've never been specifically told I have? |
