When to worry about hemroids

My boyfriend is a plumber and has what he thinks is hemroids. Last week, he squatted down for a few minutes (he was at home, not working) but when he stood up, blood poured down his leg. He got very weak. The bleeding seemed to last forever. He has had bleeding before, but nothing like this. I am very concerned. He will not go to the Doctor, as he does not have any health nsurance. What should he do ? Is it possible that he just aggrevated the hemroids or could it be more serious than that ? Thank you for any input and suggestions that you can provide for me. |
