French origin Mini chaise lounge appraisal value?

I saw a mini chaise lounge that the dealer says is of French origin. The mini chaise lounge was originally used as a dog's bed. I am looking for information regarding the value of such items. Perhaps a site where I could resesarch them would be valuable. How do I know the reasonable price for a mini chaise lounge? It has been reupholstered. The wood is dark, like a mahogany color.
