New hairstyle for medium or long hair layered in back

I have med to med long hair. My hair is layered and I would like to taper the front around my face. I waer a little bang and curl the top center of my bang for height. I curl one curl on each side of the front to blend with top. I would like a cut that is stylish and easy to set at the beginning of the day and last through out the day. (My hair is fine, takes a curl but loses it after a few hours) (I had a body wave/perm about 9 months ago. Loved it-it was not frizzy and made my hair look and feel thicker).
I am 49 years and would like an appropriate style
for my age group.
I would consider another perm if you can recommend what kind. (I have color treated hair) It is dry now
and have been using Frizzee)
