Untrustworthy Agents. Examples of deceit

I am a new writer and the firm of NY Literary Agency has offered to represent my manuscript. On the website "Editors and Preditors", they are listed as "Highly Not Recommended". It doesn't say why they are not recommended. I assume there are disgruntled clients who want to "get even" so to speak and I want information as to the firm's overall honesty. Can you supply me with a site I might go to and obtain some background on this firm? Thank you. Char Cole |
