Murry riding mower has a jerk on 3rd gear....

I have a 12.5 horse power riding mower from Murry and when it's running and moving on third gear it jerks every few seconds... Do you know what the problem is and how I can fix it?. It only jerks on 3rd gear and run great in any other gear. I've replaced the spark plug, the drive belt, the air filter, & the oil.
