changing the lubercant in the rear axel.

I would like to know how to change the lubercant in the rear end of a 1981 murry garden tractor with a 18.5 briggs & stratton industeral motor. There is no fill plug on the rear end. I assume it should be changed every so offen but cannot a filler hole.
