blood clot on brain

i was wonering if you could help me im very worried about my tutor we are close friends and she has been having trouble with her left ear she went hospital and had a scan it came back she got a blood clot on her brain and as been told she will lose her hearing and memory and there will be changes in her im very concerned she as confinded in me but i dont now much about them so i dont understand please send me some information and can i ask will she be ok there not life threatning are they i dont want to lose her i just want a better understanding of whats she is going through thankyou please reply as soon as possible
